Bhubaneswar, March 12: The BJP central leadership has of late started laying focus on Odisha leaders on the national scenario. This fact was evident at the time of induction of Jyotiraditya Scindia into the party at New Delhi. Scindia uttered the name of Union petroleum and steel minister Dharmenda Pradhan, who is party's poster boy in Odisha, in his address at the party head quarters yesterday. BJP national vice president Baijayant Jay Panda, who also hails from the state, was seen receiving Scindia at the party office. This was also acknowledged by the rising leader from Madhya Pradesh. {"align":"right","id":30408,"width":370,"height":193,"sizeSlug":"large","className":"is-style-default"} Earlier, many leaders of national importance had joined the saffron party at its national headquarters. But never the Odisha leaders were given such prominence, recall the state leaders. Political observers feel that the central leadership has started laying focus on Odisha leaders at the national events to enthuse the party cadres ahead of upcoming elections.
