Bhubaneswar, Dec 25: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is all set to celebrate its 24th Foundation Day on Saturday. To mark the birth anniversary of the party, floral tributes will be offered at the statute of Biju Patnaik in Forest Park. A meeting will also be held at BJD's party office in Unit-6, Bhubaneswar with Covid-19 protocols. Party President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will address the party members through video conferencing. Besides a fruit distribution programme will also be held at Capital Hospital and nearest old-age home. The regional party of Odisha, is named after the former chief minister of the state, late Biju Patnaik. The party was founded on 26 December 1997.
