Bhubaneswar, Oct 26: Ahead of panchayat elections in the state, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today organized training camps for its youth and student wings.
The members of youth and student wings from 35 organizational districts and 314 blocks were present at the training camp, which was held in Balighat, Puri. Senior leaders and ministers addressed workers and trained the workers to take on the various issues. The senor cadres also asked the BYJD and BCJD members to make the party’s organizational base strong at grassroots levels.
“Youths and students have more impact during the rural and urban polls. In the training camp, young leaders and workers of the party were asked to connect to the people and to aware voters with the state government’s pro-people policies and CM Naveen’s clean image,” said a senior BJD leader.
Among others, Samir Ranjan Dash, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Devi Mishra, Sanjay Das Burma and Pranab Prakash Das addressed the students and youths. The senior leaders asked the junior cadres to use social media platforms to reach people.
