Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: At the behest of State Govt.' s “Integrated Youth Development Programme” a number of co-curricular activities were taken up in the last three days at B. J. B. Autonomous College.
On 14th November Prof. Suman Das, Regional Director inaugurated the auspicious function. Students of this college participated in Odia, English and Hindi Essay, Debate, Creative Writing Competitions. Apart from this emphasis was given on our ethics, culture, traditional and oriental dance, music, jhoti and rangoli competitions. B. J. B. Autonomous College is well known for its high standard of education system. It also prepares the students to become worthy citizens of the country. So balance is maintained between education and co-curricular activities.
The Principal of the college Prof. G. M. Khan, Prof. Itishree Padhi, co-ordinator of the IYDP, Dr. Nandita Tripathy, Dr. Pushpashree Puhan, Dr. Priyanka Kar, Dr. Geetanjali Panda, Dr. Soumya Nayak coordinated the activities conducted during the days. All the teaching staff and office staff of the college actively participated for the success of the programme.
