Bhubaneswar, June 25: The Bhubaneswar judicial complex, currently under construction, is set to be inaugurated in August, said Law Minister Pruthviraj Harichandan
Recently, the law minister visited the construction site of the Bhubaneswar District Court’s new building and oversaw its construction work.
He, along with Bhubaneswar Ekamra MLA Babu Singh, BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan went to judicial comnplex construction site and discussed with works department authorities and instructed them to complete the complex work by July end. So that judicial complex could be inaugurated in August.
This state-of-the-art complex will house 57 courtrooms, record rooms, a library, conference halls, and other facilities.
The entire five-story building, including the basement, will be air-conditioned. Additionally, the basement will provide parking for 50 four-wheelers for judges, and a large parking lot is also being constructed to accommodate thousands of two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Water fountains and lawns will enhance the building’s aesthetics. The state government aims to complete construction by the end of July
Law minister Harichandan also discussed with members of Bhubaneswar Bar association and promised to solve all their problems soon.
