Bhitarkanika National Park opens for tourists

Kendrapara, Oct 19: Bhitarkanika National Park in Kendrapara district reopened for tourists from today after around seven-month break. The park was closed for tourists in March due to Covid-19 pandemic and was reopened on October 1 only for night stay. The park is now open for public visit with strict adherence to Covid guidelines and not more that 500 tourists are allowed into it. People with systems of cough, cold and flu are not allowed to visit the national park known for crocodiles.
