Bhubaneswar, Jan 4: The Birth Centenary celebration of Freedom Fighter, late Banka Bihari Das will be held on January 8 in Bhubaneswar. Banka Bihari Das Centenary Committee (State) has informed it on Tuesday. The Centenary Celebration has been scheduled to be organized at Institute of Engineers, Unit-IV, Bhubaneswar at 11 AM. The National President of Gandhi Peace Foundation, Kumar Prasant will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Dr. Vandana Shiva, environmentalist will join here as the Chief speaker. Worth mentioning, Banka Bihari Das was a noted peasant leader, Legislator, and Parliamentarian who devoted his life for the sake of the underprivileged people of Odisha.
