ASI to undertake Puri Jagannath temple repair work soon

Puri, Nov 27: Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) is soon going to start the repair work of the Puri Jagannath temple.It was revealed after the visit of the ASI team led by Amicus Curiae NK Mohanty on Sunday. The team supervised the cracks, wear and tears of the Jagamohan, Nata Mandap and the sanctum sanctorum of the Jagannath temple along with the technical committee. {"id":229343,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} As per their observations, the crack which was detected by the technical committee at the Nata Mandap is intact as earlier. It has not gone in depth according to the findings of the crack Transmitter detection device, said ASI Superintendent Arun Mallick.Mallick said, repair work will be winded up before April 2023. The crack transmitter device will remain as it is during the repairing project. However, the office will lay proposals for two types of repair work, Mallick added.
