Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Secretary, Ashirbad Behera was sent to judicial custody till 1 October 2019 after CBI court rejected his bail plea.

He was arrested in Artha Tatwa chit fund scam case earlier in the morning by Economic Offences Wing of CBI in relation to Artha Tatwa chit fund scam.

Behera allegedly took one crore rupees to promote the pyramid scheme.In his defense, Behera said that he has already submitted all the relevant documents to the investigative agency.
