Around 400 terrorists at launch pads in Pok: Gen Naravane

New Delhi, Jan 12: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Wednesday said that as many as 350-400 terrorists are present at the launch pads and training camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The statement came from the Indian Army Chief while he was addressing the Indian Army’s annual press conference on Wednesday. “Resultantly, the situation has witnessed marked improvement However, increase in concentration of terrorists in launch pads across the LC and repeated infiltration attempts have once again exposed their (Pakistan’s) nefarious intents,” said the Indian Army Chief while sounding Cautious. “We, on our part, have resolved to show ‘Zero Tolerance’ to terror, and commit ourselves to extract dire costs, should that be forced upon us,” he added. Naravane also pointed out that Pakistan is solely responsible for the Siachen dispute between both countries and India has no strong unwillingness to demilitarize the Siachen glacier.
