‘Anti Sikh’ post case: Kangana Ranaut appears before Mumbai Police

Mumbai, Dec 23: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut reached Khar police station on Thursday in connection to the ‘Anto Sikha’ post case. The ‘Queen’ actress reportedly appeared before the Khar police to record her statement concerning the FIR lodged against her for her alleged derogatory remarks against the farmer protests. Following this, the actress took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of her surrounded by media personnel as she reached the Khar police station in Mumbai. Kangana wrote a caption along with the photo, “Another day another visit to police station hundreds of politically motivated FIR’S and hours and questioning… ” “This country continues to ill treat and devalue nationalists and if you love your nation you are on your own against a very powerful enemy. Those in power would prioritise vote banks and for that they can even encourage terrorism… so it’s a lonely road and guess what it’s alright #jaihind.” she wrote in the following Instagram story. Earlier, Kangana approached the Bombay High Court to revoke the FIR that was filed against her by Amarjeetsingh Sandhu along with leaders of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community. On the work front, Kangana is currently directing Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur which is also her first-ever production venture. The actress also has a few more movies lined up namely, Tejas, Dhaakad, and Emergency.
