Hyderabad, Sept 15: In a tragic incident as many as four Odias were reportedly killed after a truck collided with an ambulance wherein they were venturing out for medical care.
The incident reportedly took place near the Tellagundla Palle village while the ambulance was en route to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru..
Three others were critically injured after the ambulance hit a speeding truck on the Chittoor-Tirupathi highway on Friday.
As a result, the ambulance was completely damaged and all the passengers were critically injured. Among the deceased there are three men and one woman whose identifications are yet to be ascertained.
On being informed, the police and fire services personnel rushed to the spot and initiate a rescue operation.
