Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: Hours after expulsion of BJD MLA Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy from the party, several allegation of cheating job aspirants have surfaced against the legislator and Akash Pathak, the son of tainted IFS Abhay Kant Pathak. Several aspirants have accused the legislator and Akash of cheating more than 100 aspirants of Gopalpur and Berhampur on pretext of job. The senior IFS officer along with son was arrested by the Vigilance on Friday for amassing assets disproportionate to his income. Akash was expected to marry Panigrahy’s daughter in December. Panigrahy has earlier claimed that Akash was entitled to travel by charter flights by his employer, the Tata Group. The Tata Group, however, had earlier accused Akash of impersonation and lodged a formal police compliant. Besides it is also alleged that Panigrahy has flown five times in the last 10 months on very expensive charter flights along with Akash.
