Sambalpur, Nov 27: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla has once again hit the headlines for the wrong reason after a second-year B-Tech student accused a third-year student of ragging. According to sources, 12 students of B-Tech second year had gone to the nearby P. C. Bridge during evening time. Three third-year students from the IT department were also present there. They had an argument at the bridge. Following this, a second-year student lodged a complaint with the authorities in this regard. However, the authorities have denied the allegation of ragging and said it was just a scuffle between the students which had started due to some misunderstanding and the matter is solved now. Worth mentioning, two students were rusticated from the university on September 22 following allegations of ragging.
