Bhubaneswar, Aug 14: The Crime Branch will question Gajapati DFO Sangram Keshari Behera and Bidya Bharati Panda over the mysterious death case of Paralakhemundi Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra. Behera and the wife of the deceased forest official Bidya Bharati Panda will be questioned over the case once again, informed Crime Branch DSP Bijay Mallick. The death case has been transferred to the Crime Branch after the Paralakhemundi Police failed to crack the death mystery, even a month after the young forest officer succumbed to severe burn injuries following a fire mishap at his official residence. Recently, a team of Paralakhemundi Police had grilled deceased ACF’s wife and her parents at her residence at Goudagan under Kaptipada Block in Mayurbhanj district. The Paralakhemundi Police has given a clean chit to Gajapati DFO in the alleged murder case.
