Absentees can appear Advanced JEE without JEE Main

Bhubaneswar, May 17: The absentees those could not appear the last JEE advanced after registration can reappear the test this time without JEE Main. The Indian Institute of Technology Coucil has issued notification in this connection. Besides, the council has noticed that the over aged candidates can appear the coming exam if they could not appear the exam due to the pandemic. According to the Joint Admission Board (JAB) of the IIT Council, thousands of expectants could not appear the Advanced JEE -2020 due to the Pandemic. JAB has relaxed the JEE Main for them.Thus, they can appear it without appearing JEE Main examination. Apart from that, the age of some examinees have been exceeded by one year as one year lapsed due to the pandemic. They are also eligible to appear the Advanced JEE in case they have been enrolled for AJEE-2020, said the notice.
