Bhubaneswar, Oct 21: The seven students who were arrested on the charges of manhandling a Captain’s fiancée late night on 14th Sept, have been granted bail on Saturday.
The JMFC, Bhubaneswar granted their bail pleas a few hours after they were forwarded to the court.
Worth mentioning, the Chandaka police had arrested the youths for allegedly misbehaving with the couple in mid-night, based on the complaint lodged by the Captain in the Bharatpur Police.
Sources said, the youths during their deposition before the court pleaded that they had not assaulted the Captain’s fiancée in any way. They also prayed before the judge that they were falsely implicated in the case.
