Sambalpur, Nov 9: Naveen Odisha and 5T chairman VK Pandian visited Samaleswari Temple in the wee hours of Thursday.
While the temple development project is approaching its final stages, the state government is determined to see it through by the next month. During his visit, he also engaged in discussions with the temple's servitors and the officials overseeing the construction efforts.
The primary focus of his inspection included an evaluation of the new temple entrance gate, improvements to the parking area, the construction of a podium, enhancements to the queue management system, the establishment of a cloakroom, and the beautification of the temple surroundings.
The initiatives related to the vending zone, information center, pilgrim facility center, and temple facilitation center are currently underway, with over 70 percent of the development already completed. The Chairman of the 5T initiative emphasized the importance of completing these projects within the coming month during his review. Additionally, he took the opportunity to hold discussions with the staff of the Temple Trust Board. Moreover, the 5T Chairman conducted a thorough assessment of the ongoing work on the Mahanadi Arati project along the riverbank. He urged officials to expedite the remaining work, as a significant portion of it is yet to be finished.
The other officials who were present during his visit are Manoj Mishra, the Principal Secretary of IT, Vir Vikram Yadav, the Works Secretary, Collector Ananya Das, Trust Board Chairman Sanjay Babu, and several other senior officials.
