190 acres of ganja cultivation destroyed in Kandhamal

Phulbani, Nov 28: Kandhamal police along with excise officials destroyed around 190 acres of ganja cultivation in the district on Friday. They reportedly cut cannabis plants in 190 acres of land in Binjarkuti and Daungia areas. Police along with excise officials conducted the drive and set ablaze the illegal cultivation. Estimated value of the destroyed cannabis plantation would be worth around Rs 19 crore.
