170 acres of ganja cultivation destroyed in Kandhamal

Phulbani, Nov 14: Nuagaon police along with excise officials destroyed around 170 acres of ganja cultivation in Kandhamal district on Friday. They reportedly cut cannabis plants in 170 acres of land in Baliguda area. A police team headed by Nuagaon police station IIC Srinibash Samal along with excise officials were present during the drive. Estimated value of the destroyed cannabis plantation would be worth around Rs 1.70 crore.
