While interacting with the media persons Padhy said that owing to climate change and environmental pollution, the state government has rejected as many as 1600 more than 15 years old, outdated, and environmentally hazardous government vehicles with the help of Scrap Centers and the MSTC. Acting on the certification of the Union Government, the Transport Department is expediting the scraping of less environment-efficient vehicles.
