Odisha Pavilion a major crowd puller in India International Trade Fair

Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: Heavy crowd is seen for the last one week in the Odisha pavilion of India International Trade Fair, set up at Pragati Maidan here.More than 70 thousand viewers have already visited the pavilion. The stalls here have a turnover of more than Rs 30 lakh.

 At the entrance gate, beautiful works of Odisha's ancient trading tradition, the statue of Trinity ( Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra), Konark wheels have been the main attraction for the visitors.  

Panchayatiraj and Drinking Water Department Secretary Sunil Kumar Lohani visited the Odisha Pavilion on Monday and was impressed with the decoration and arrangements. He thanked the designers and fabricators.

Various handicrafts and garments made by artisans can be seen in the Boyonika stall. Handicrafts of Odisha weavers, Raghurajpur patta paintings, Pipili applique and various wood and stone products are available and in the  pavilion. Similarly, organic farming products of millet of Kandhamal are also found in the state SC and ST Development Department's stall

The pavilion was inaugurated by the State Minister for Social Security and Disability,  Ashok Panda on November 14.
