Bhubaneswar, Nov 4: The second direct flight service between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore (Koraput) will begin on November 6, informed the Chief Minister’s Office on Saturday.
According to the official information, the flight service will be available twice a week, every Monday and Friday. The flight service is financially supported by Odisha government and will be operated by Indian One Air under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme.
The flight will take off at 7.10 am on Monday and will land at 8.45 in Jeypore. On Friday, it will take off at 9 am from Bhubaneswar airport and land on 10.35 am at Jeypore. The inaugural fare of the flight service has been fixed at Rs 2,999.
Worth mentioning, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had flagged off daily direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore on October 2022 From the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
