New Delhi, Jan 18: Ahead of the highly anticipated consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, a captivating display of Lord Ram's images illuminated the clock tower in Dehradun on Wednesday night. A video shared by a news agency showcased various projections on the clock tower amidst the bustling city street.
The consecration ceremony for the Ram temple is scheduled for January 22 in Ayodhya, with the seven-day Vedic rituals (Pran Pratishtha) commencing on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to be the chief guest at this grand event, which has extended invitations to thousands, including celebrities, saints, and politicians.
On Wednesday, the idol of Ram Lalla was ceremoniously moved into the inner sanctum of the Ram temple, as announced by Nripendra Mishra, the chairperson of the Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee. Preceding this significant moment, a special puja took place within the temple premises. Mishra mentioned that the installation of the idol of Lord Ram in the sanctum sanctorum is expected to take place on Thursday.
The Sharkaradhivas and Phaladhivas rituals will take place on Saturday morning, while the Pushpadhivas ritual will be done in the evening.
