Nayagarh, Oct 30: In an unfortunate incident, two minor boys died by drowning while taking bath in a village pond in Abhimanpur village under Itamati police limits in Odisha’s Nayagarh.
The deceased kids were identified as Likun Kar, son of Kartik Kar and Pradip Kar, son of Sarbeswar Kar of the same village.
According to the information, Both kids had gone to take bath in a village pond on Monday. However, while bathing, their feet slipped and they went into deep water. While the kids did not return home, family members started searching and found their body in the pond.
A pall of gloom descended among the villagers after the incident.
