Berhampur, Jan 15: A youth died today while playing cricket at Burujhari in Khallikote of Ganjam district. The deceased has been identified as Naryan Gouda. As per reports, the deceased was batting when the bat hit him. He fell on the ground and later was shifted to the nearest hospital. Gouda was later received dead at the hospital. Police have started an investigation into the incident. “We have sent the body for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death,” said a police official. Earlier in January a PG second year student of Central University had died while playing cricket. The deceased identified as Bharat Harijan, a native of Nabaranagapur district had complained of breathing problems while playing cricket.
