Sundergarh, Jan 10: Locals in Hatituku village of Sundergarh district were forced to carry a pregnant woman on a cot due to lack of road connectivity. The incident took place on Thursday under Lephripada block. Pregnant Amrita Aind met a fire accident in the afternoon while she was busy in cooking. {"id":23624,"sizeSlug":"large"} The family members immediately called the ambulance service. However, the ambulance could not reach the patient due to lack of road connectivity. The ambulance driver walked to the village and helped the family members in carrying her to the ambulance two kilometers away from the village. The woman is undergoing treatment at Sundergarh district headquarters hospital.
