Woman from Odisha gives birth to child on Shramik special train

Bhubaneswar, May 22: A 35-year-old woman returning to Odisha in a Sharmik Special Train today delivered a baby in running train. As per reports, the woman identified as Kunti Nag hailing from Pakhanmunda village of Balangir district was on her way to Odisha from Secunderabad when she felt labour pain. Later she delivered a baby boy inside the train compartment. Railway officials said that the woman later deboarded the train at Balangir railway station from where she was immediately shifted to Balangir Hospital. Doctors at the hospital said that the health condition of the mother and the new born is stable. Earlier on Wednesday a woman had delivered a girl child inside a fire service vehicle under the Mahakalapada Fire station limits in Kendrapada district.
