Winter to be felt within two days; night temp will fall by 2-3 degree Celsius within 48 hours

Bhubaneswar, 3/12: The impact of winter will be felt within a couple of days with the fall of temperature by 2-3 degree Celsius, says the meteorology department. The fog condition will prevail till the coming 48 hours. There is also likelihood of light rainfall in the southern districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati and Rayagada etc. However, the weather will remain dry at other places across the state. Though the weathermen had predicted onset of winter after the cyclonic storm “Bulbul”, the minimum temperature has not fallen as expected in most of areas of the state except two-three districts. The lowest temperature of 11 degree Celsius has been recorded at Daringibadi, which is called the Kashmir of Odisha, followed by Sundargarh (13 degree Celsius), Sonepur (14 degree Celsius) and Angul (15.6 degree Celsius). Minimum temperature at other places have remained above 16 degree Celsius.
