Wanted criminal escapes from quarantine centre in Odisha

Jharsuguda, May 4: A wanted criminal managed to escape from a government quarantine centre in the district today. As per reports, the criminal a resident of Rourkela had taken shelter in a house in Sarbernaa area in Jharsuguda district 10 days ago. However, locals in the area informed the police which took him and lodged him in a quarantine centre. The swab sample of the man has also been sent for testing. But he managed to escape from the quarantine centre on Monday morning. Subsequently, police came to know that the man was a wanted in a criminal case registered with Dhanupali police station in Sambalpur district. Police said that they are trying to nab the wanted criminal.
