New Delhi, April 5: One will fing many videos on YouTube of cricketers sledging each other which people have watched many times over on repeat.

Among them is a popular video of former India pacer Ashish Nehra abusing MS Dhoni for missing a catch in an ODI match against Pakistan in the year 2005.

The former cricketer recalled the incident from Ahmedabad ODI when he lost his cool at MS Dhoni, who was just in his first year of international cricket at the time but later went on to become India’s most successful captain across formats.

The incident took place in the over 4 of Pakistan’s innings when opener Shahid Afridi, who was batting on 10, edged a delivery outside off-stump and the ball flew past wicketkeeper Dhoni and Rahul Dravid at first slip. Nehra could be seen hurling the choicest abuses at Dhoni while also venting his frustration out on Dravid.

He opened up about the incident in a recent interview in which he said that he wasn’t proud of his behaviour.
