Lucknow, April 12: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that ministers will start working from their offices on Monday, maintaining the principle of social distancing. The Chief Minister has also set up committees headed by Deputy Chief Ministers and other ministers that will look into issues related to construction, industries, medical, agriculture and other sectors and suggest ways to deal with the impact of the lockdown. He said that the state government would follow the guidelines laid down by the Centre in the fight against corona. The Chief Minister said that the committee set up under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, would probe the possibility starting online classes for secondary and higher education, including medical technical and others. Another committee set up under the leadership of Jal Shakti minister Mahendra Nath Singh will suggest ways to deal with water scarcity in the Bundelkhand region. Adityanath also listed the various packages given by the Centre and state government for the poor, daily wage earners and farmers. The Chief Minister also appealed to the people to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti in their homes. "I have directed all ministers to offer floral tributes to Ambedkar in their offices and people should do the same," he said. "Festivals like Baisakhi and then Ramzan are also coming up.
