Two women claim to be wife of one man; the youth absconds

Soro, 23/12: Interestingly, two women have claimed to be wives of one youth in Soro. They have staked their claim at the local police station, following which the youth has absconded. According to reports, a youth of Badhakudi village under Soro Municipality had married to a woman of Khirakona village, The couple had three children to them. Later, the youth married to a widow belonging to Markona area. He had solemnised the marriage by putting vermillion on her forehead in front of the widow's mother. Then he kept physical relation with her. However, the youth has in the meanwhile absconded after allegedly taking a bike, a costly mobile phone and Rs 40,000 cash from her. On the other hand, the first wife of the youth has approached the police station staking her claim and demanding his husband should stay with her. The second wife has also knocked the door of the police station and demanded action against the youth. The scene of two women claiming before the police to be the wives of one youth has caused curiosity among the locals.
