Two-day tourism minister conference to begin today

Chandrabhaga, Jan 23: The two-day tourism minister conference at Chandrabhaga eco resort to showcase Odisha’s tourism potential will begin from today. The tourism ministers and secretaries from across the country are to participate in the conference that is scheduled to be held on January 23 and 24. On the other hand, an important meeting was held in Bhubaneswar yesterday to discuss how to increase operation of international flights to Bhubaneswar keeping Odisha’s tourism potential in view. Officials of Airport Authority of India, various airlines and the government attended the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who made efforts to persuade the Airline Operators to improve connectivity in the state. The Chief Minister asked the Government of India and the Airline Operators to introduce new flights for both domestic and international destinations and improve connectivity from Odisha that will play a major role in strengthening the state’s economy.
