Trophy of short film contest ‘Showcase 2020’ to be organised by Summa Real Media Limited unveiled

Bhubaneswar, Feb 18: In a bid to encourage young filmmakers, Summa Real Media Limited will organise a short film contest titled ‘Showcase 2020’. The trophy for the contest was today unveiled by the director of Summa Real Media Limited, Saswati Das. {"align":"center","id":27085,"sizeSlug":"large"} Organisers said that the length of the short films which will be considered for the contest should not exceed 12 minutes. Besides the age of the participants should be in between 15 years and 40 years. “Stories with original ideas will be given preference. Besides short films in other language than Odia with subtitles will also be considered for the contest. Videographers, filmmakers and youths in the field of editing can participate in the contest,” said an organiser. {"align":"center","id":27086,"sizeSlug":"large"} A cash prize of Rs 50000 will be awarded to the best short film, while the second and third best short films will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 30000 and 20000 respectively. Similarly an award of Rs 10000 will be given to films in various categories.
