Three more daily flights to Ahmedabad and Bengaluru from Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Sep 16: For the convenience of passengers of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), three more flights will operate from today to Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. The three flights 6E 334(BBI-BLR) , 6E 318(BBI-AMD) and AI 738(BBI-BLR) will operate daily by following all the safety precautions mentioned by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The airport has witnessed tremendous growth during the lockdown. As per official statistics, the airport handled 128 passengers in April this year which increased to 95567 in August. Flight operations at the airport will be suspended between 11 pm and 7 am everyday for around four months from October 1 on account of commencement of runway re-carpeting work.
