Bebgaluru, Mar 31: All persons under home quarantine have been asked to sent selfies every hour in Karnataka. The state government took the decision after 10 people, who were earlier placed under home quarantine in Bengaluru, escaped and later were arrested from their home towns. Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar told reprters that those under home quarantine have been asked to send their selfies every hour to the state government on a mobile application. Failing to do so, teams will reach such defaulters and shift them to government quarantine centres. The app is available on Google's Playstore. The pictures will be monitered by a team of government officials. The rule exempts people from sending selfies between 10 pm and 7 am.
