Test facility for coronavirus to start at RMRC in Odisha from Monday

Bhubaneswar, March 6: Test facility for deadly coronavirus will be available at the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) in the state capital from Monday, informed director of RMRC Sanghamitra Pati today. “We have received more than 100 testing kits for test of coronavirus. The report of the test will be available within six to eight hours. If any of the samples is found positive then it will be sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune for further test,” said Pati. {"align":"center","id":29518,"sizeSlug":"large"} In a related development a student hailing from Jagatsinghpur district was today admitted at the Capital Hospital after he complained of symptoms related to the deadly virus. Sources said that the youth who was studying in Egypt returned to Odisha recently. Doctors at the hospital said that the youth is undergoing treatment in the isolation ward.
