Surprise visit of 5-T Secretary to the Lingaraj temple

Bhubaneswar, 4/12: 5-T secretary VK Pandian today made a surprise visit of Lingaraj temple here. He supervised the developmental work undergoing inside and outside the 11th century shrine. {"id":21464,"sizeSlug":"large"} The senior IAS officer, who is Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been entrusted with the supervision of implementation of the 5-T (team work, transparency, technology, transformation and time), the hallmark of the good governance, as enshrined by the chief minister himself. Recently, the state government had announced a Rs 8.5 crore package for the beautification of the ancient monument. Mean while, several measures have been undertaken for the construction of new market complex and the beautification around the temple complex. Pandian made the surprise visit at the wee hours today to oversee the execution of the developmental works. Pandian was accompanied by Deputy Police Commissioner Anup Sahu, Works Secretary, Krishan Kumar, Khorda additional district magistrate and officials of Lingaraj Temple Administration.
