Supplementary budget gets Council of Ministers’ nod

Bhubaneswar:  A meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved supplementary budget of around Rs 8,300 crore to be presented by Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari on November 13 in the State Assembly.

The Winter Session of the 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin from November 13. The Session will continue till December 19. The supplementary budget will be tabled on the first day of the winter session of the State Assembly on November 13.

Appropriation Bill on the First Supplementary Statement of Expenditure will be tabled in the Assembly on November 25. The Winter Session of the Assembly has a total of 30 business days.
