Students of Khordha district in Odisha to learn through WhatsApp groups during lockdown

Khordha, April 15: The District Education Office (DEO) of Khordha district has decided to keep students engaged though WhatsApp groups from April 19. Officials said that the programme named ‘Siksha Sanjog’ will enable students from Class II to Class X to study online. “Students will be asked to access the books and e-content after downloading the DIKSHA mobile app from Google play store. They will also be asked to access Ujjwala and Utthan books/worksheets though the mobile application named as Ujjwala and Utthan-Odisha from Google play store,” said an official. The details of time table and modalities for the programme have been kept ready for implementation. The time schedule and the instructional hours mentioned in the time table may be flexible as per the learning needs of the students. The programme will continue till June 20 which can be further extended as per requirement,” added the official.
