Telkoi, 6/12: A student was beaten up black and blue by the headmaster. His offence was not related to studies, but not obeying the headmaster’s order to guard his room in the night. This incident has occurred in Telkoi block area of Keonjhar district. According to reports, headmaster of Golabandh UGME School, Ramakanta Bal had gone to Bhubaneswar on Wednesday for some work. He had asked two students to guard his room in the night. However, mother of one of the students did not allow him to sleep in the night in the school.
