Spoken English to be introduced from class I in Odisha schools

Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: Spoken English course will be introduced from Class I in Odisha schools. This was informed by School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash while speaking at a function in Nimapara of Puri district.    Earlier, Spoken English course was in force from Class III. However, the state government has decided to introduce the course from Class I to strengthen the English speaking capacity of students of Odisha. Spoken English will be taught in 100 school of excellence by opening special sections. Similarly, the attendance of the teachers on line, said the minister.
