Mayurbhanj: BJP national president Amit Shah targeted BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for not implementing Centre’s Ayushman Bharat and promised to implement the same if BJP voted to power in Odisha.

“Poor Odia people are deprived of getting quality healthcare facilities despite the implementation of nation-wide Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the scheme for 50 crore poor in the country. But Naveen Babu is not accepting the scheme,” said Shah during Vijay Sankalp Samabesh at Morada in Mayurbhanj district.

Shah promised that BJP will implement the scheme in Odisha if the party voted to power.

Asking the people to throw away the corrupt BJD Government, Shah said “The corrupt BJD Government needs to be thrown out of power. There’s no need of a CM who doesn’t know Odia rule Odisha. Seeing the Modi wave, Babus here are now having sleepless nights,” said Shah.

Shah on the concluding day of the campaigning for the fourth phase Lok Sabha and Assembly elections hit campaign trails in the State seeking votes for party candidates.

Mayurbhanj and five other Lok Sabha seats and 41 Assembly seats under them will go for polls on April 29.
