Keonjhar: BJP national president Amit Shah today slammed the Congress and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for keeping people poor in the State.

“They rules Odisha for maximum times. And Odisha is lagging behind. Once BJP is voted to power, Odisha will be No 1 State in the country,” said Shah while addressing an election rally in Keonjhar.

He also said all chit fund accused will be sent to jail if the saffron party is voted to power.

He asked the people to overthrow the Naveen Patnaik Government and bring BJP Government both at the centre and State to usher development.

“In the next five years, we will ensure that no youth will have to migrate outside the state for jobs. We will usher development not only in Keonjharbut also in the entire State,” said Shah.

“People of Odisha will vote in two elections. One is to elect Prime Minister Narendra Modi again and the second one is to dethrone Naveen Babu,” said Shah.

Shah will also visit the State on April 17 when he addresses two rallies at Mahisapata in Dhanekanal district and Tennis Ground in Badamba in Cuttack district.

Voting in Keonjhar, Sambalpur and Cuttack Lok Sabha constituencies and the corresponding Assembly segments will be held in the third phase on April 23.
