Severe heat wave continues to sweep Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Heatwave conditions continued to prevail in several parts of the State today with eleven cities registering temperature above 40 degree Celsius.

While Titlagarh was hottest at 43.5 degree Celsius, Angul recorded 42.7 degree Celsius followed by Bolangir 42.5 degree Celsius, Talcher-42.3 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda-41.8 degree Celsius, Sonepur 41.4 degree Celsius and Sambalpur 41.1 degree Celsius.

Capital city Bhubaneswar recorded 40.2 degree Celsius.

On Saturday, Talcher recorded the State’s maximum temperature at 43.1 degree Celsius while nine districts recorded temperature above 40 degree Celsius.
