8 firearms including one carbine seized from Pahadi Cheetah gang members

Rourkela, Sep 18: Sundargarh police arrested two members of Pahadi Cheetah, a banned outfit, and seized huge cache of arms and ammunition from them. Police have seized one carbine, two pistols, five country made guns and ammunition from them. Besides police have also seized cash worth Rs 4.81 lakh from the accused. Police said that one of the accused Raju Kindo was associated with People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) and Jharkhand Badshah gang and one of his associates. “ Kindo was involved in number of crimes including extortion and robbery. We are further interrogating both of them to ascertain the source of procurement of firearms. We are also verifying their antecedents,” said a police official.
