Homeopathy medicine camp begins for servitors of Puri Jagannath temple

Puri, June 9: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri today started a health camp to provide homeopathy medicine to the servitors to improve their immune system and help them fight Covid-19 ahead of annual Rath Yatra to be held on June 23. The camp was inaugurated by Niti Prasasak (Administrator, Rituals) Jitendra Sahu. Officials said that as many as 165 persons including servitors and members of STJA were administered homeopathy medicine.   SJTA officials said the health camp will continue till June 13 for the servitors and their families to administer homeopathy medicine. Sources said that more than 1200 servitors and their family members would be given Arsenicum album 30 (the homeopathy medicine). Recently, the STJA has conducted Covid-19 test of around 500 servitors before allowing them to perform Debasnan Purnima rituals on June 5.
