RTPCR test of MLAs from Nov 17 ahead of the winter session of Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar, Nov 13: The Health and Family Welfare department will to conduct RTPCR test of all MLAs ahead of the winter session of Odisha Assembly in view of prevailing Covid-19situation. As per reports, samples will be collected from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm on Nov 17 & 18, 8.30 am to 1.30 pm on Nov 19. The Assembly session has been summoned for 40 working days from November 20 till December 31. The legislators have also been advised not to meet any people from their respective constituencies from the date of RTPCR test till end of the session. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been asked to sanitise the House and assembly premises. All the MLAs, secretariat and assembly employees who will be allowed inside the Assembly premises will be provided with face masks and sanitiser.
