RPF cop saves passenger from falling between moving train and platform at Bhubaneswar station

Bhubaneswar: A RPF constable saved a passenger from falling between a moving train and a platform at Bhubaneswar station on Sunday evening.

The passenger identified as Nazir Malik, aged about 24 years, from West Bengal, while detraining from running Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar MEMU had fallen between Platform and Train at Bhubaneswar Station.

He was lifted immediately rescued Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable NB Rao.

Due to the bravery and instant alertness on duty he has been praised by one and all, for exemplary presence of mind and passenger safety consciousness. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV.

A few days ago, in a similar incident, a Railway Telecom Engineer Tapas Ranjan Barik had also saved the life of an elderly lady passenger, who had tried to deboard from a running train at Cuttack Railway Station.
